Apply for Master Classes
In order to be considered for the Master Classes offered at the Stulberg International String Competition, applicants are asked to follow the guidelines in the application process.
- Master Class applicants must perform with piano accompaniment, and those selected to perform in the Master Classes must perform the same work as performed in the audition.
- Pieces do not need to be memorized.
- It is recommended that applicants are at a minimum in Suzuki Book 4 (or comparable) or beyond.
- Violin, viola, and cello soloists under the age of 20 (as of 01/01/2024) are eligible to apply (2024 Competition semifinalists are not eligible).
Application Deadline: March 31, 2024. Application video and information must be submitted online between March 1-31. During this time, we will provide the link to the application. Master Class application fee ($30) will be paid when online application video is submitted.
Master Class Date: Friday, May 17, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Dalton Center in Kalamazoo, MI. Students will be onsite and the judges will be on-site.
